I love her goal ideas, they are brilliant and a good set to go by. I’ve lost about 12 pounds throughout the month of may and plan to continue on that path throughout the next year. I can’t run like she does do to my weak ankles from so many long hours of dance. I choose to go to the gym instead and yet I feel like I have some major work to do on my cardio. I need to stick to the elliptical for longer periods of time and not give up.

Weight Loss:
As of the end of May I am down 15lbs. I feel better, my skin looks healthier and I’m starting to see a little definition in my abs and calves . For June I think I’m going to up my running to 4 days a week and mix in weight training. This month I’m going to try to focus less on losing and more on gaining muscle. Hopefully by the time I go down to Virginia in July I’ll be bikini ready.
Beauty:
These are a little stupid but still very necessary to put in writing. I need a way to hold myself accountable. I need to start treating my skin way better. Moisturizing and treating twice daily. Facials once a week. Manicure and pedicure once a week. Tweeze once every two weeks or as necessary. Simple shit thats gotta get done.
Spiritual:
I’ve seriously lapsed in my meditation a.k.a I haven’t been doing anything at all. So the theme for June will be meditation and yoga. Since my workouts are going to be so strenuous I’m going to back off the pace of my yoga a little bit. I think 20 mins or so of stretching and poses in the morning after I wake up and again before bed will do. I want to meditate before yoga in the morning and after yoga in the evening.
Household:
I cleaned my portion of the house spotless and I intend to keep it that way. I’d like to develop a more neat and organized environment over the next month to help reduce stress, especially in my bedroom. I’d like to make a little oasis to come home to every night, so for the month of June I’d like to better develop cleaning routines.
Education:
Short and simple. I need to make it through the dictionary of genetics with flashcards and start making my organic chemistry flashcards. Easy for summer.
